“The idea of forming my own credit brokerage came about early in 2007, after dealing with some leading brokers for many years, as well as encouragement from my accountant in Bristol.
During my 15 years with General Guarantee I had built up a large and varied base of customers, offering Hire Purchase, Leasing and business loan facilities These schemes had been used to fund contractors plant, machinery and business equipment as well as vehicles. However, in my last position I had been restricted to vehicle Hire Purchase only, and with the idea of Brunel I set about going back to offering a wider range of facilities to my customers. These clients would be sole traders through to PLC’s. I am pleased to say that already in the first 12 months I have been able to provide financial solutions to virtually all of my customers’ requests.
In practical terms I am offering an old fashioned local customer service, whilst at the same time providing this in a speedy fashion via the latest technology. This way I can listen to my customer’s needs , and then return with a speedy Online acceptance often within the hour. Equally, I am able to ensure swift supplier payment- often by TT. Ultimately my customer gets his asset funded within the intended deadline.
It is my personal intention to continue building my customer base offering this “personal” process, whilst staying abreast of any technological progress which might help to improve service. I am totally committed to this venture for the long term.”
